Unexpected Surprise Panerai Metal Glass Diving Watch Real Shot

I have seen Panerai’s new 2017 SIHH products, and I’m generally impressed by three watches. One is a LAB-IDTM carbon fiber watch (model: PAM00700) that guarantees 50 years without movement lubrication. The blue dial bronze diving watch (model: PAM0061), and the other is a professional sports diving watch with innovative metal glass material, model PAM00692, which will be introduced in this article. Panerai’s bold improvements in materials this year have really brought us unexpected surprises.

Model: PAM00692
This watch is Panerai’s first watch made of metal glass. This material is not only highly resistant to corrosion and extremely strong, but also resistant to external shocks and magnetic fields. It can also bring unexpected surprises to the wearer.

What is metallic glass? The following editors will unravel the mystery for everyone:
The mystery of this innovative material is not in the dark gray appearance of titanium, but in the characteristics brought about by its atomic structure. It is made of a special glass-like alloy, and the atomic structure is no longer arranged in an ordered geometrical structure under the high temperature environment of the casting process. This disordered structure is the secret that gives metallic glass material properties, giving it It is robust, resistant to corrosion, and resistant to external magnetic fields. This innovative material not only has outstanding performance, but also has a fashionable and avant-garde design, which has long been a classic of high-end sports watchmaking.

This watch has a case diameter of 47 mm and is designed with Panerai’s classic pillow-shaped case. It is equipped with an excellent crown bridge device and is waterproof to 300 meters.

The blue dial further highlights the indissoluble bond between Panerai and the ocean. It is equipped with a white time scale and uses two different luminous coatings to facilitate the distinction between regular time and diving time. The layout of the dial is simple and reasonable. The date display window and small seconds dial are set at 3 and 9 o’clock, respectively. The 6 o’clock position is marked with the Panerai brand mark and the metal glass logo used on the case.

The bottom of the table uses a mystery design, which is engraved with the year of birth of the Panerai brand and the classic torpedo icon. Inside is also equipped with a P.9010 self-winding mechanical movement with a 3-day power reserve. This movement consists of 200 parts and 31 gems, with a diameter of 13¾ centimeters and a thickness of 6 mm, which reduces the thickness of the case.
